When it comes to eating Thai breakfast, two popular choices are joke (โจ๊ก), which is a thick rice porridge like congee, and khao tom (ข้าวต้ม), which is a thinner, less mushy rice soup. I really like both breakfasts, but a good thing about khao tom is the extra toppings you can add!
