Southern Thai Gaeng Som
Now I do have a lot of favorite Thai dishes, but nothing pleases me more than a southern Thai food feast. One of the dishes that I just can’t get enough of and keep eating as much as possible is southern Thai style “gaeng som” soup.
It’s not that tomatoey sweet and sour gaeng som, the southern version is pungently sour and explosively hot, flavored with chillies and fresh turmeric root.
